A Warm Chalk down vest in a suede-effect microfibre, in a pale chalk white, quilted in horizontal channels and filled with white goose down. A stand collar, a five-button front, two vertical pockets that close with a snap, and clean armholes that sit close for layering. Light enough to wear under a coat and warm enough to wear without one, over a knit or a shirt.

DESCRIPTION

The shell is a suede-effect microfibre, polyester with elastane, brushed to a short, matte nap, so it has the soft hand of suede and gives with the body. It is quilted in horizontal channels over a filling of white goose down, 90% down content, 68 grams in size M: warmth through the body without the bulk of a padded coat.

A stand collar sits close at the neck. The front closes with five buttons, a yoke seam crosses the chest, and the two pockets enter vertically at the side and close with a snap. The armholes are cut clean and close, so the vest sits neatly under a jacket and over a knit.

It is cut regular, to layer: over a roll neck or a shirt on a cold morning, under a coat in the depth of winter, and on its own on the first cool evenings.

• Shell: 78% polyester, 22% elastane, a suede-effect microfibre
• Lining: 100% polyamide
• Filling: white goose down, 90% down content (68 g in size M)
• Trims: five-button front; snap-close pockets

Care Instructions
• Hand wash in cool water, 30 degrees at most, with a little neutral detergent, and rinse twice
• No washing powder, fabric softener, stain remover or bleach
• Do not tumble dry and do not wring: press the water out, reshape, and dry flat in the shade
• Shake gently once dry so the down settles evenly
• Do not iron
• Store folded in a dry wardrobe, out of direct sun
