DESCRIPTION

The cloth is a herringbone woven from a blend led by polyester, with cotton, viscose, a little wool and a touch of elastane: it has the dry, textured surface of a tweed and gives a little as you move. In Dust Ecru, a warm off-white, the chevron of the weave comes and goes with the light.

The stand collar is lined in lambswool. Closed with the buttoned tab at the throat, it stands up against the wind; left open, it folds down and the curl of the wool shows at the neck. The front closes with a two-way zip, so the hem can be opened from below when sitting, the pockets enter vertically behind zips, and the cuffs and hem are ribbed, which is what holds the bomber's line at the waist. Between the shell and the smooth lining is a light polyester padding.

It is cut regular through the shoulder and body, with room for a shirt or a fine knit underneath: over a roll neck on a cold, bright morning, over an open collar in the evening, and in the bag for a weekend somewhere colder.

• Shell: 69.3% polyester, 15% cotton, 8.7% viscose, 4.3% wool, 2.7% elastane, in a herringbone weave
• Collar lining: 100% lambswool
• Lining: 100% polyester
• Padding: 100% polyester
• Trims: ribbed knit cuffs and hem; two-way zip; buttoned throat tab

Care Instructions
• Professional dry clean only, on a gentle cycle with a hydrocarbon solvent
• Do not wash
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Iron on a low setting, 110 degrees at most, without steam, and not on the lambswool collar
• Protect the zip pulls when cleaning
• Store on a broad hanger in a cool, dry place
