A Feuille Brulee zip blouson in a burnt-leaf brown, with a quilted body in a brushed fabric with a soft nap, filled with white goose down, and sleeves in a ribbed knit. A ribbed stand collar, a two-way steel zip with a leather pull, two vertical zip pockets with leather welts, and a ribbed hem and cuffs. Warm through the body where the wind meets you, easy through the arms where a padded sleeve is not, and light enough to go from the office to the flight. Cut regular, with room for a shirt or a fine knit.

DESCRIPTION

The body is quilted in horizontal channels, front and back, over a filling of white goose down: warmth without the bulk of a padded coat. The face is a brushed fabric with a soft, matte nap that reads a shade lighter or darker as the light moves across the quilting.

The sleeves are knitted in a rib, so the arms move as they would in a cardigan, and the same rib forms the stand collar, the cuffs and the hem, which is what holds the blouson at the waist. The front closes with a two-way steel zip with a leather pull, so the hem can be opened from below when sitting; the two chest pockets close with vertical zips set into leather welts, and the front is otherwise clean.

It is cut regular through the body, with room for a shirt or a fine knit underneath, and it does the work of a jacket and a knit at once: over a shirt in the office at 18 degrees, over a roll neck on the first cold morning, and folded into the bag for a week somewhere colder.

Care Instructions
• Hand wash in cool water, 30 degrees at most, with a little neutral detergent, and rinse twice
• No washing powder, fabric softener, stain remover or bleach
• Do not tumble dry and do not wring: press the water out, reshape, and dry flat in the shade
• Shake gently once dry so the down settles evenly
• Do not iron; keep the leather trims dry and away from heat
• Store folded in a dry wardrobe, out of direct sun
